Procurement body Scape has officially started the race for the sole place on its £1.5bn National Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Framework.
The new, four-year framework will extend Scape’s current portfolio of national construction and professional services, and will include a wide range of civil engineering and infrastructure services.
Mark Robinson, group chief executive at Scape, said:
“Our clients asked that we considered the procurement of a national civil engineering and infrastructure framework. The framework will be able to deliver on large-scale, high-profile projects such as associated infrastructure around HS2.”
Only firms with a turnover over £500m are eligible to bid for the deal, and have until 21 July 2014 to submit PQQs.
Pre-qualification documents are available from the Delta eSourcing website. Interested firms will need to register, log in, go to ‘Response Manager’ and enter access code: 5MG8FP66CX.
