This week, we welcomed Sue Ward to the Propeller Bid Response Team.

Sue is a specialist bid writer and manager, and a qualified (NVQ Level 7 Construction Senior Management and ICIOB) construction professional, specialising in planned and responsive maintenance and new build social housing, extra care and schools.

Sue started her career in the MOD, and has experience of speech writing and answering written and oral Parliamentary Questions. After a spell in air charter and aviation consultancy, she joined the piling, ground improvements and precast concrete specialist, Roger Bullivant Ltd as a Senior Estimator.

In 2007, Sue moved to Frank Haslam Milan, part of the Keepmoat Group, as a Pre-Construction Surveyor. She was promoted to Bid Manager in 2008 and to Head of Bid Management in 2012.

Sue is a highly experienced bid manager, specialising in bid leadership, writing and research. She is trained in a Neuro Linguistic Programming approach to client communications, and has consistently achieved excellent results in highly pressurised environments.

Sue is looking forward to working with Propeller’s clients and helping to continue our long legacy of winning work for the construction sector.
