AMP7 tender plans announced by Thames Water

AMP7 tender plans announced by Thames Water

Thames Water has announced its plans for a tender plan worth £2.6bn of work for the next AMP7 spending programme. The plan will span 2020-2025 and includes two major sewage treatment works projects. It has a combined value worth £180m. Projects include upgrading Mogden sewage treatment works and a new treatment works in Guildford.

The AMP7 tender plans are made up of complex programmes. This is in response to changing needs, population growth and a changing environment.

Procurement will cover three specific areas:

  1. AMP7 Capital programmes framework
  2. Civils, Mechanical and Electrical Contracts (CMEC) Framework
  3. Major projects

Thames Water are holding a procurement launch event in July to set out information ahead of invitations to tender. There is a market engagement survey available to support the procurement proposals. Interested parties will need to request access to the survey directly from Thames Water.
